The design for this family home overlooking Bilgola Beach is all about creating connection to the stunning coastal views. Floor to ceiling glass invites the vista in – flooding the main living spaces with light, and providing an ever-changing backdrop directed by the seasons.

Brief
Baxter+Co worked with our clients, who had seen another of our projects, and wanted a similar design language and style. Empty nesters, they were looking for a simple, elegant design, with a sense of Scandi quiet and calm.
We paired natural timber flooring with marble benchtops, floating shelves and handmade feature lights to introduce a sense of harmonious balance. The mirror splash back in the kitchen was added to reflect the coastal view, reconnecting the home and its inhabitants to the outdoors.
The overall result is a space evocative of quiet sophistication with Scandinavian undertones. Just what the clients wanted.
