The interior design of these three new homes – each different, but related – were brought to life on the backdrop of natural light, geometric line and spatial flow. The result is cohesive, yet unique spaces that are built for contemporary living.

Brief

Baxter+Co worked with MHDP Architects to develop the interiors for this development of three new architecturally designed homes. Our brief was to make each home feel unique, while maintaining a sense of continuity through the materials palette and finish selections, ensuring client expectations were met.
Each home features a light or dark scheme, with a combination of timber veneer and 2pac poly connected to create two-tone joinery. Feature bathroom tiles continue the linear style. Natural light flows through the living areas, with timber flooring directing movement through the space. Curved internal walls and joinery soften the angles and enhance the sense of flow between spaces.
Skylights and voids designed by the architect flood light into internal spaces, creating warmth, volume and interest. Up-lighting fixed to walls instead of downlighting continues the sense of warmth and ambience in the evening.
